Ingredients
275g Flour
225g Butter, softened
110g Sugar
Chocolate Chips, how many you want!
Makes 10 Cookies
Method
Step One: The very first step of the cookie making process is probably the most important, creaming together the butter and sugar. To execute this step all you have to do is pop the butter and the sugar into a bowl and use an electric mixer to mix the two ingredients until smooth perfection. You can do this step using a normal spoon or whisk but it will take a lot of arm power and a lot of time.
Step Two: Now it is time to make this sugary smooth cake-like batter into a full-on batch of cookie dough. To do this we need to add in both the flour and the chocolate chips. Now make sure you do this very carefully and fold in the flour and chocolate very, very gently.
Step Three: So, now that you have your well-mixed cookie dough, ready for baking you can go ahead and the dough into little balls. Next place them on a baking tray and pop them in an oven preheated to 180oC for around 10-12mins.
And boom, now you're done, no need for a step 4!
Tips
· When creaming the butter and the sugar together make sure to take as long as you can, so there are absolutely no sugar granules left in the dough.
· If you want, don’t want to cook the cookie dough right away then why not roll the dough in some cling film and pop it in the fridge.
