This is a great recipe for Halloween. With intentional cracks and cookies as well, what more could you ask for? You could ask for a chocolate and cinnamon flavour combination I guess. So without further or do here is my chilling recipe:
INGREDIENTS
250g caster sugar
250g unsalted butter
4 eggs
250g self raising flour
3 tbsp milk
2 tsp cocoa powder
1 tsp cinnamon powder.
2 Maryland Cookies
Step One:
Cream your butter and sugar together until pale and fluffy and you can't see any bits of sugar, it will probably take 5 - 10 mins.
Step Two:
Add the eggs one at a time, mix for a few mins between each one.
Step Three:
Sieve your flour into the mixture then carefully with a wooden spoon so it combines but do not mix it in for very long.
Step Four:
Add your milk and mix till smooth.
Step Five:
Separate your batter into 2 batches. In one of them pop in the cocoa and one of the cookies and the cinnamon and the cookie in the other batch.
Step Six:
Put each batter batter into it's own greased tin. Lay the tins into the oven and bake at 170 degs for 22 mins.
